have to disagree w HGSS. I just finished a SS play through about a week ago and i’m already contemplating starting HG . They’re that good.

I’d bump HGSS up to high A or S tier for what it was offering at the time, such as content, graphics, and the first instance of walking Pokémon for the whole roster. RBY was very nostalgic and invigorating in terms of difficulty, but GSC was arguably even more nostalgic with the final Trainer Red battle, and for everything it introduced and polished. I’d switch those two. Pokémon stadium deserves at least B tier just for the mini games alone. They were the perfect break in between longer battle runs and so freakin fun. Getting to import your RBY mons for battle was a lot of fun too. Other than that, I agree with the rest of the placements.

pokepark (especially pokepark 2) are extremely good games, in my opinion. out of the pokemon series, its one of the few games i remember playing where you get to play as multiple characters, and all the characters are pokemon. you get to really know the backstories of some of the pokemon as well -- their personalities, families, where they would live and thrive, ect. overall its a really good game, plus there are some really hard challenges within the series as well. overall 10/10, would play again and would recommend.

I totally agree with the list except the fact that you put Mystery Dungeon at C. I believe Mystery Dungeon was probably the most cinematic, emotional and beautiful spinoff in the series . Deserves an A.

It’s 100% worth playing Explorers of Sky even if you’ve already played Darkness/Time. Adds a lot of content, expands the story, and it allows you to play as some of the other characters to learn their part of the story. I think it ranks higher than a lot of the mainline games in my opinion :)

Pokepark is S tier to me. Played that game so many times and would happily pick it up again if they got a remake <3 Now I need a Hazza play though of pokepark XD

Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky are, in my honest opinion, some of the best Pokémon games ever made. So much story and content jam packed in there and it has a lot of wholesome moments, a lot of moments that’ll make you cry, and a terrifying villain who’ll literally haunt your dreams (he did for me as a kid anyways 🤣). Totally worth playing.

For me Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky is S+ tier, as it is my favorite game of all time. I actually cried a few times, laughed a LOT, enjoyed the graphics and music, the challenge was on par.... so yeah. Best game in my opinion.

Other than that... pretty solid tier list man.

I think the Unova games are the best main games just because they're the only ones with a full fleshed story with characters that actually change.

HGSS for sure the best games made. Being able to go to two regions was so cool. I think it is still by far the best game made.

I'm honestly taken back that you enjoyed Red/Blue Rescue Team more than Explorers. Considering how incredibly executed the Explorers games are... 😭
