If only Mallory did this with Butcher’s slow approach to things then maybe Ryan wouldn’t have been alienated

ironic how Mallory always criticized Butcher for messing up the plan and then proceeded to mess up the fate of America and the relationship between Butcher and Ryan

The problem is Mallory was trying to force Ryan into killing his own father with out showing an ounce of proof he is the person she says he is, Butcher was trying to calmly explain and make Ryan understand, but she came on with these accusations against Homelander and then threatened to put Ryan to sleep unless he agreed to kill his father and be her weapon. Mallory brought it on herself by pulling a dumb move like that

Mallory was getting desperate to keep Ryan, hence why he got mad after getting all those secrets dumped on him at once. Butcher's approach was more appropriate and smart.

I am mad because of the way it ended and how mallory handled it. The one good thing that came out of this is that Ryan found out the truth about his father and not from him. Now let s imagine if he asks him about it and he can tell homelander is lying due to his powers. Finally, homelanders own powers used against him

If Mallory had supported the idea, it literally would have turned out better, the things she would have put into her trust with Butcher. Unfortunately, this would have left HL's feelings even more dissatisfied!!!

Mallory acted so stupid here. Who tells a child in such a short time, that his father is a murder and rapist and that he should kill his dad? But the writers needed this plot device so desperately. Other wise sages poor developed plan wouldn work. But of course she could predict, that Butcher, Mallory and Ryan had this conflict and Ryan would kill Mallory. And she also predicted of course that this event drives butcher over the edge and also he is in the right time at the right place just to kill Neumann. Man, sages super power isnt super intelligence, her power is more luck than gladstone ganter.

Mallory's biggest problem was trying to stop Ryan. I personally don't think telling Ryan was a bad thing because he'd eventually need to know and everyone's going to have to cope or distance or react in some way to such startling information; there's no getting around it. Mallory's mistake was misunderstanding how much control Ryan had over his power and how volatile he'll be. Now Ryan is probably going to feel guilty over Mallory's death and will further distance himself from the Boys

Ryan would either cool off his mind, approach someone else for safety, or help find the kidnapped Boys in which would definitely led up to helping take down Homelander and Vought, and I cant wait for it to happen, another 2 years of waiting it is.

In the end Ryan cannot escape his own sins either. He now has to live with what he has done and now gonna have to live with the consequences of destroying any hope Butcher had.

Time for them to feel the Wrath of Butcher next season.
