That was very helpful, thank you! I have owned homes for 45 years and I recently filed my first claim and know very little about the process. I did not know what a Public Adjuster was until last week. It seems odd that my insurance claims handler put me in touch with a public adjuster. I thought this adjuster was working on behalf of the insurance company but the adjuster assured me that he is working for me. Is it odd for the insurance company to provide me with an adjuster? Thank you in advance if you have time to address this.

Hello, can you recommend a desk appraiser to review an insurance estimate?
Thank you
