I have a brother who has a different mother but we share the same dad. I got to live with dad and my brother always hated me and my dad because of it. I love my brother and try to keep in contact with him. Even at my dad’s funeral he got up and said some horrible things. Always wish we could have had him live with us but his mother wouldn’t let him.
After dad died he accused me of stealing an inheritance off him.
I never got a cent it all went to my mother who my dad spent 40 years building a life with so that makes sense.
I know that isn’t exactly what this song is about but it hit me right where it hurts.
