What is the Gospel?

I lived for years believing false salvation plans like Greg Laurie just gave. Absolute misery, fear and insecurity were the hallmarks of my life.
When I finally understood that salvation is NOT based on my good works or promise to do good works in the future, and I instead trusted in Christ’s finished work on the cross as full payment for sin, then I was truly saved and had the kind of joy that one can only have when he/she rests fully on Christ alone to go to heaven (which is the only way).
Acts 16:31, John 3:16, Romans 4:5, Titus 3:5 and Ephesians 2: 8-9.
If you’re reading this, trust Christ today as the One who died in your place, was raised again and fully paid for your sins. Trust in Him alone and that’s it!! And He will never lose you after salvation!
Now that is truly the Gospel (good news)!

Right Jesus, wrong gospel. Jesus Christ paid for all the sins of all the world. That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Him. When you are trusting alone in the person and finished work of Christ.
The true gospel is admit that you are a hopelessly lost sinner and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before and trust Jesus Christ as your only hope of getting to Heaven.
False invitations include, make a commitment, promise to follow Jesus, repent of your sins, give your life to Christ, make Jesus Lord and Master of your life, etc.
These are all good things that already saved people should do. Saved unto good Works, not by them, or kept by them, nether can they prove my salvation.
You see God's standard is absolute perfection. Not even one sin is allowed to be in Heaven.
Jesus will not save anyone who is trusting partially in their good works and partially in Christ. JESUS IS NOT THE SUPPLEMENT TO OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
JESUS IS OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
This is just one of many reasons why repentance of sins cannot save or contribute to your salvation. Jesus gets all the credit for saving you. The KJV says not of him who willeth or him who runneth but of God who shows mercy. Also repentance from dead works and of faith towards God.
Nobody has ever successfully repented of all their sins.
These false teachers will then say okay only be willing.
Okay how willing, and when do you know that you have been willing enough?
Mathew 7:21-23, Jesus says to these people who were following His teachings and even calling Him Lord, Lord.... Depart from me, ye workers of iniquity, I never knew you.
Salvation is a free gift, if you must repent of your sins and give your life to Christ for salvation then it is unattainable and you are trying to barter your life for something that can only be Recieved by believing.
When you have believed you have repented unto life.
FYI to receive salvation you must admit that you are a hopelessly lost sinner and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before and trust Jesus Christ as your only hope of getting to Heaven.
Your good works done after salvation will get you rewards in Heaven. You get to choose whether to cooperate with the Holy Spirit or grieve Him.
If you decide to be a disobedient child of God then God will Chastise you in this life, He may even take you home early, and you will have little to no rewards in Heaven and you will be ashamed at the judgment seat of Christ.
You definitely should live for God once you are saved. Now you have the opportunity to repent of sins daily.
You can only be born again by trusting that Jesus paid your sin debt in full.

Oh you forgot one MAJOR thing, you didn't say Believe in Jesus Christ for eternal life. Only He can give eternal life. It is a free gift once you believe this. Jesus promised you will be saved for eternity, at the moment you believe in Him for it. Nothing you can do after will take that from you. You dont have to earn it or "commit" in order to have it or keep it. Pastor, you are preaching a false gospel. People, read your bible, the book of John, don't listen to this guy or other false teachers. The bible says beware of false teachers.

That is NOT the is a Laurie "feel good" REAL gospel that Jesus gave to Paul can be found at died for your sins, was dead and buried but rose to new life on the third day. Don't add or subtract anything.

To everyone arguing this is NOT the gospel: When Christ spoke, via the radio, into my heart, "the gospel" all He said to me was (Matthew 12:30), "YOU, (my name) need to get off the fence of indifference!" I KNEW EXACTLY WHAT JESUS MEANT. I thought He and I were GOOD. I enjoyed sin and believed Jesus was God. Jesus didn't need to tell me everything you SUPPOSE is "the gospel". You unbelievers are putting the Holy Spirit in a box. I'm a saved soul based upon ONE sentence Jesus said to me. How about the thief on the cross? The Samaritan woman? Zaccheus? Doubting Thomas? The Roman centurion and Peter? Etc.,

The gospel is the gospel of the kingdom!

Jesus is going to return and set up the kingdom of God ON THE EARTH! God’s government ON THE EARTH! Believers will rule the nations with Jesus! The Messiah died for his people! God resurrected the Messiah! The Messiah will resurrect his people at his coming! They will rule the nations! The destiny of the Messiah and his people is to be ON THE EARTH! The renewed restored earth! God also dwelling with them! Rev 21

Matt 24
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Jesus said the Father is the only true God!
