When you book an advanced purchase rate with Hilton, you're not allowed to cancel, so there's a chance you could lose out on all of your money if you can't make your hotel stay.

BUT, there is a loophole-like exception that allows you to make changes to your booking subject to some conditions.

with a hilton reservation as an advance booking non refundable i can change a four night booking to a one night booking? or pay a one night booking and cancel?
