Also wanted to share a video from one of my viewers who also has a YouTube channel. She started sleeping on her back on a wedge and shows the difference in her hoods and undereye bags after just a couple months sleeping that way (she's the one I was talking about that emailed me and I was so happy to hear about her success!)

I started sleeping on my back after I saw your first video about it. It was great advice! I had deep chest creases from side sleeping. At 72 I thought erasing those wrinkles was impossible. Well, they are gone! Still sleeping on my back all the time. Thanks, Angie!

I began sleeping exclusively on my back 3 weeks ago and there is already a noticeable reduction in my facial folds that formed when I slept on my side, I'm so excited! Oh yeah and eye bags are gone!

I was one of the viewers who did this and sent you pictures a few years ago! The difference is astounding! I look like I had eye surgery. My hooded eyes were greatly diminished and my eye bags are mostly gone, and they were huge before! I also notice that I breathe so much better, because my sinuses stay clearer. Best beauty advice I’ve ever used!

I found hugging a pillow on top of me helped to make me feel less exposed while learning to back sleep....

Started training myself to sleep on my back after watching one of your earlier videos. It immediately helped with my sinuses and shoulder, neck and hip pain. After a few months, I noticed that my smile lines were decreasing and my hooded eyes looked a little better. Thank you Angie for your advice! It's making a difference in my life every day. For those of you trying to get used to sleeping on your back: Try a smaller, 7" wedge. Try one pillow under your knees, another pillow on your chest (to hug), and a third pillow under your head (pull it up to touch both your cheeks -- like an airplane pillow). I find this so comfy, that I now wake up on my back, even if I fall asleep on my side! Once I found what was comfortable for me, it only took about a week to get used to sleeping on my back.

I recommend a pillow under the knees if someone is still having back pain when using the wedge. Elevating both my upper half and my knees, while it feels funny at first, really helps with pain and aging bodies.

I decided to become a back sleeper to eliminate facial and chest lines back in 1986! So I've been sleeping like a corpse for 34 years. So glad I am on track Angie!

I started sleeping on my back due to severe acid reflux. I started out using a wedge due to the fact my head needed to be elevated. It has made a world of difference with that issue. Another thing that helps to transition to sleeping on the back is a weighted blanket. It gives the feeling of security the way sleeping on your side or belly does. I was so happy to hear all of the anti-aging benefits that come with sleeping on the back. The benefits of it are endless!!

I did it last night! I have been sleeping on my stomach/side for 64 years! I’ve never been able to do it before. Tried again after watching this video with the poses you suggested with no extra fussy pillow maneuvering. Woke up this morning STILL ON MY BACK. It’s probably beginner’s luck but at least I know it can be done. Thank you, thank you, thank you! And my neck thanks you too.

Even though I’m really young (14) I am looking to sleep on my back, for my overall health and to slow down ageing (for when I get older) I also want to feel more elegant when I wake up reducing puffiness and fixing asymmetry. Even though I’m 14 and I shouldn’t be worrying about this, I feel it’ll be good for me. Trying tonight, wish me luck! 👍🏼

Wow! The last thought I had when my head hit the pillow last night was why can't I sleep on my back like Angie! This is something I want to conquer in 2020, but I'll have to modify for back/neck issues. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. You are my favorite.

I am a former hardcore stomach sleeper. A couple of months ago, I started sleeping with a weighted blanket, which made the transition to being a back sleeper surprisingly easy. (The weighted blanket has improved my sleep quality as well!)

I use the wedge pillow plus another pillow on top of that to stabilize my head. No joke, the first day I woke up from doing that my under eye puffiness was almost gone. I didn't have the chest wrinkles. After a couple of months of doing that my eye hoods are greatly pulled back to the point I haven't even gone in to update my Botox. Not going to lie it was quite a challenge the first week sleeping like that. I've been a dedicated stomach or side sleeper all my life. Sometimes I even contort a little with my body slightly side facing and my face up ha ha but I wouldn't recommend that (neck tweaks). It really does make a huge difference.

Thank you Angie for doing this video. When I fell asleep on my recliner in front of the TV and then waking up in the morning, my back and neck didn't hurt and my hair wasn't flat on the sides. My face also looked better because I was getting the full benefit of my nighttime skincare routine because it's not rubbing off on my pillow! So sleeping on the recliner is how I trained myself to sleep on my back in my bed.

I just purchased MY Face Pillow from Amazon. I slept on my back the first night!! The pillow is awesome. I also put a pillow under my knees.I never thought I would be able to do this as I was a serious side sleeper. Thanks Angie for making me aware of the benefits.

I find placing a pillow under my knees forced me to sleep on my back and is very comfortable. It also seems to have helped me a bit with lower back problems.

I woke up with the worst pain in my left shoulder and collar bone this morning from sleeping on my side last night. Then I opened you tube with my morning coffee and see your video about back sleeping. Is it a sign? 😉 I’m becoming more and more motivated to give this a try. Thanks for your always helpful and unique videos. Also Taylor Wynn gave you a shout out yesterday. You’ve drawn in the younger crowd!

I started sleeping on my back almost 3 months ago. I didn’t want to ruin my lash extensions but really knew from your previous videos that it was the best sleeping position- so you have been a great inspiration to me!! Plus, my dermatologist has noticed and also my chronic shoulder pain is gone:)

Thanks to my pug and my cat I sleep on my back most of the night since they sleep between my legs or off to my side of our legs. I rarely end up on my side so hopefully this will work for my skin benefit!!
