Old fella I know damaged his leg in Egypt in the Second World War. It got infected and they were going to cut his leg off.
The surgeon came round and said, get him 2 ounces of yeast from the bakers. It’ll be absorbed into his stomach and consume the infection.
He dated and married the daughter of an eminent German surgeon. And although he was a civil engineer by trade, he spent hours telling me about old school medical stuff and I tell you old school doctors had completely different and highly effective diagnostic and holistic processes.
