The line he said in spiderman sticks out to me. "Ya know, I guess one person can make a difference" it sticks out to me because he described himself. He changed the way we view comics with his characters, and he created the base for many of the heroes we know and love today. Maybe we will forget some heroes, but we will never forget the man who created them. We all love you stan... Excelsior!

This is the kind of person you can definitely point at and say “he was born to do what he did”. He found his place in the world and through that place, inspired hundreds of millions of people in different generations worldwide. There’s even more people who aren’t even born yet, and they’ll know who he was and will in turn be inspired by his stories. I never got the chance to meet him unfortunately, but he changed my life in ways he never knew, and who knows how many others’. You’re the man, Stan. Few can only hope to accomplish a portion of what you’ve achieved, but you told us to dream in the ways you did, and that it’s OK. Your physical time here is over, but what you’ve done will always keep you alive in our hearts and minds through our comic books, games, television shows and movies. And we love you for that. Go be with your buddies and your wife now. The heroes you created will take care of the rest. Excelsior!
