This reminds me of a character I'm planning to include in my online D&D story, Project Sound Souls (coming soon to a RolePages near you) who is essentially the reverse of your typical cursed tape ghost. She has no unfinished business - Or more accurately, the unfinished business that allowed her to be a ghost was already resolved, but she's still holding unto existence as a ghost through sheer willpower (mostly) because she just wants to continue living.
