That looked so pretty in the jar! But not liking anything 'hot' makes me cringe! 😉 God bless!!

oh well done, that looked awesome. Medium heat is perfect for me! And the rooster came through.

This is perfect. I sat down after a canning job getting ready to deal with my peppers next! Perfect timing!

Thank you for using actual measurements! Deives me crazy when people insist on using a scale and it's so not necessary. Saving video to a fermentation playlist 😊

Anyone arguing over the scale, ask how people have been fermenting for eons without it.
Really is a new fangled invention that only became common in the last couple decades

I love the idea of this fermented sauce! Using peaches and Sugar Rush Peach peppers just seems like it goes well together - it is beautiful in the jars, too! I adore hot, flavorful sauces so might test the peppers before putting them in to ferment. We have had issues with characteristically hot peppers growing that were NOT hot at all this year, but they had great flavor. What's weird is they SMELLED hot. I was told last year this is a sulphur deficiency, but so far, we have had very few truly hot peppers except our jalapenos. Next year is for our Sugar Rush Peach peppers, though (Baker Creek finally got them back in stock and I was quick to order a packet) because I am really hoping we'll have the soil situation figured out by then. LOL Or not, and just have some super snacking peppers. 🤣

Sounds like your boys have taste buds more like Levi. I understand exactly what you mean about the heat interfering with my meal. My husband loves hot sauces and even belongs to a subscription that he gets several bottles each year to enjoy. I think he's crazy but he actually enjoys the endorphins that accompany the hot sauce. I would be so bothered by the pain and trying to make it go away. I wondered about the heat level when you were preparing the sauce. Since you didn't seem to need a mask or had too much discomfort breathing. Thanks so much for sharing this video, your dinner looked delicious!! Stay safe!!

Haven’t finished watching the video but I’ve had sugar rush peach and habanero peppers fermenting for a month! Waiting for my strainer to arrive tomorrow! Kinda scared of how hot it will be, lol.

This reminds me of the jar of fermented peppers I put up... two years ago.... I'll decide if I'm going to actually make it into sauce or just feed my chickens.

I love hot sauce, and that one looks wonderful. My youngest Son has grown up eating relatively well spiced food, but still won't eat the heat I do. Sometimes I actually crave it too. We're all different, and that's the joyous thing about gardening and creative recipes that allow us to adapt to taste!

I have to make this! Peaches are my favorite. While im at it may try to make some peach salsa. Thanks for the idea! Just had a brain fart as my husband says i love peaches on the grill/smoker with some good salty cheese. If i had a freeze dryer i would put some smoked peaches in it then stick them in a blender after with some black and cayenne pepper, salt, garlic and onion powder and make a meat rub out of it😋 maybe one of these days. I keep entering in the freeze dryer giveaway at harvestright maybe i will get lucky❤🍑

That looks incredible! The peach and habanero should be a total winner. Holly made a batch last year with the yellow pear tomatoes and habanero peppers. It was awesome! I'll try your recipe when our habaneros are ripe. It's the one pepper that might not be involved in #peppergate2023! Cheers Heather!

I can’t wait for my sugar rush peach peppers to fully ripen so that I can make this! I love spicy but my husband not as much so it sounds like something we both will like. I’ll just put a lot more of it on my food than him. 😊

I wish I could put a picture in the comments. I followed this video to make my own fermented hot sauce a week ago and just blended it up this morning. It smells and tastes amazing! Thank you very much!
