Wunderschöne und spannende live Aufführung dieser kompakten und perfekt komponierten Klaviersonate im relativ schnellen Tempo mit klar artikuliertem Anschlag und völlig effektiver Dynamik. Die damaligen Moskauer waren echt glücklich, dass sie solch eine wunderbare und atemberaubende Aufführung live hören konnten!

I like him even when he's not good.

It's very good, but too fast, too pianistic. I don't think any orchestra would play it this way. The best rendition for me is Wilhem Kempff.
