I've owned a cr10s, voxelab aquila, and several other fdm printers.
I bought the bambu labs a1, as its a bed slinger and I'm used to that type of printer.
The leap in technology is amazing, hands down the bambu labs a1 is the best printer I've ever used.
Set up took about 15 minutes, turned it on, let it do its thing and it's ready to print, really that's it.

Coming from other printers as someone who was anti-bambu to an A1 has been an interesting journey. I wasn't a fan of closed eco-system proprietary bs while using opensource hardware/software to sell as closed. But really these printers are incredible. The ease of use is just too good. Sure for someone like me using a prusa or a voron or a creality machine isn't hard at this point but for someone new who doesn't know how to setup a slicer or what the difference between an STL and Gcode is being able to point them to a simple machine that just works is nice. And that machine prints very well and very fast at a cheap price its just hard to beat.

Bambulab shits on the competition from high heights. People just can’t hack it because they compare it to Apple as it’s refined, intuitive and expensive because of it. For the average person that’s not well versed in 3d printing it’s the best choice and I back your support for them 👍

I picked up an a1 and within a day decided I loved it and picked up the a1 mini, no regrets

I went into Microcenter to buy an A1 and walked out with a P1S combo 😅. I do not regret it. Although, I’m still tempted to pick up an A1 mini for a second bed to print other stuff while I’m printing on the P1S. They’re not just for more toys! So far I’ve fixed an ironing board, pantry organization, and window blinds amongst other things in addition to all the toys I’ve been creating 😂

Dude --- my first printer I got a sidewinder X1. I was barely able to print anything. It was just one issue after another. I learned a helluva lot, for sure, but I didn't get into 3d printing for the 3d printing, I wanted to make stuff.

When I got an X1 it blew my mind! It just works, no bullshit. I've had to do very little aside from my own prints and some clean up. It's incredible. So I know for a fact the A1 and A1 mini are the same. Thats what they care about. Bambu is the apple of 3d printers without the excess bullshit. They design from the top-down to have full control. If you're a tinkerer that might be worrisome as they are basically the only place for replacements, but the end result is consistently amazing prints

Bambu A1 is a good printer. Been printing 8 years now. The have their persnickety quirks but they are good machines.

Got my A1 mini with AMS And my goodness it's amazing. Would love to get the A1 but I've been thinking of going for the enclosed units or even the carbon so I can print some cooler filaments like abs, CF and some other crazy filaments

“I’m not a shill, ” is exactly what a shill would say. “I’d get more money from commissions on the more expensive one.” Every salesman in history knows that trick. Tell them about the more expensive one and then offer the more reasonable model. Tell them about how you’re not making as much money, implying that you’re on the sucker…I mean customer’s side. You make zero on commission you don’t sell.
