Recent understanding of orthokeratology and myopia management has flourished. The use of toric designs, small optic zones, higher order aberrations, peripheral defocus have all become more widespread and accepted for optimizing contact lens fitting and controlling myopic axial growth. Unfortunately, the plethora of options available can become confusing, especially considering the significant inter-individual variation in corneal shapes and biomechanics. As such, there is an urgency to understand the fundamentals of bespoke contact lens design. This webinar will focus on building a foundational understanding of the principal zones/curves shared by all reverse geometry lenses. Importantly, we want to understand the dynamics of individual zone modification. For example, how changing the diameter/width of one zone will affect other zones, the orthokeratology force, and ultimately lens fitting.
