(Animation) Isabelle Joins The Cult Of The Lamb

An overworked Isabelle is sent on vacation by Tom Nook. Little does she know, the little animal is crossing into some dangerous territory. It turns out that this innocent looking campsite she arrives at is actually run by a cult who seem to worship a cute looking lamb wearing a powerful red crown. Meh... what's the worst that could happen?

Full of secrets, sinners and sacrifices, here it is! The highly anticipated Cult of the Lamb and Animal Crossing crossover animation! This is a huge passion project of mine (created in ToonBoom Harmony and Adobe Premiere Pro CC) to create an interesting story filled with jokes, memes and references from the two games. The crossover cartoon took over 6 months to make. Scripting, character & background drawing, animation, visual effects, sound effects and editing were all done by me alone. Glow and Payton created outstanding music tracks specifically for this animation as well. Credits are below!

This animation isn’t just an achievement of my biggest animation ever, but it’s also a celebration of all the creative minds within the Cult of the Lamb community. Over 30 original characters are included in this cartoon! It was so fun designing them to fit the Cult of the Lamb art style (resulting in a cursed Yoshi form).

A giant thank you to Massive Monster for crafting such a unique and entertaining game! We’re all so grateful to keep playing and are hyped for the release of the new (and free) DLC update for Cult of the Lamb: Relics of the Old Faith! In fact, Devolver Digital have just released the new Cult of the Lamb update trailer too! For the Animal Crossing New Horizons fans, I would highly suggest trying this game out, it might be your new favourite game.

The music featured in this animation was heavily inspired by Narayana Johnson’s original soundtrack for the Cult of the Lamb game! We absolutely love their work and I wanted this cartoon to have music that sounds like it belongs in the game, but is completely fan-made.

You perfectly captured the oddness of coming into the cult of the lamb as a "normal" person. It's hilarious that Isabelle decided against the outhouse and rather went into the bush. The attention to detail was also amazing, and the animation was smooth enough to be official.
