You know, you think being a kind of sheep himself, Lambert (his actual name) would know that shearing domestic sheep helps keep their wool from overgrowing, which can lead to overheating and literally getting weighed down from maximum fluff. Plus that makes it a hotbed for parasites, fungal infections and other nasties. Sure, getting nicks in the process of shaving is a bit less than pleasant, but their skin usually stops bleeding within ten seconds, and heels completely in 2 to 4 weeks. No different than when a human shaves over a pimple. Moral of these fun facts; peel your sheep.
