This scene is a thing of beauty. So many Star Wars stories that are good, reasonable, kinda cool, but so few quite reach the lighting in a bottle of the originals. This moment does.

I like how this made Vader look like a completely terrifying force of nature, making the rebels shit themselves in fear.

Definitely made him a badass again.

My dad once told me that when he first saw Darth Vader in the movie theater back in 1977 he was so scared that he begged my grandpa to turn the movie off. Imagine my dad seeing this when he was 3 years old

I love how the Rebels in this scene are legimatley horrified by Vader showing up. Just imagine all the horror stories they've heard about him and now, they've come face to face with him...

We need more of this Vader from Disney; absolute ruthless man. As a kid reading the comics about how intimidating he was this was excellent how I imagined him to be like.
