Recalbox 7.0 was just released and we now have support for the Raspberry Pi 4! A lot of awesome changes have been made with this new release and in this video, we take a look at a few and test out some PS1, PSP, and Dreamcast games using Recalbox 7 on the Raspberry Pi 4!

Just want to start by saying you're one of my favorite tech guys is far as the raspberry pie and other builds that you do! But I do have a question have you had a chance to look at the latest version of recall box. I'm having issues with plugging it into my TV and getting sound through HDMI as well as hooking up Wi-Fi and hooking up a Bluetooth controller. Just wondering if you've had a chance to look at it and if you've got a video coming out anytime soon. Keep up the good work!

I would like to second some of the opinions below, a comparison video of the different game emulators would be nice.

That's a lovely frontend for all those retro emulators. Runs Kodi too, so don't have to switch systems if you want to play your media. Sadly, Pi doesn't have enough horsepower for higher-end games.
I don't get it what's wrong with network transfers. Just make a Samba share and mount it on your PC. After that, it's just drag and drop. No need to shut down or mess with SD card.

Finally my RPI4 hdmi actually works! When you do your in depth video could you explain how to change the system resolution? Can't seem to find any setting in the menu 👎

With Recalbox, Retropie & all the others, when is someone going to make use of 2 HDMI ports and give us some PINBALL ACTION? New builds of all these Frontends are great but its recycled. VR Pinball is the next step in the Pi line of SBC's.

I'm curious if you would know what the proper SD card size would one need, if one was looking to load all the roms for the supported emulators. i.e. how big of an SD card to hold a complete collection of NES, SuperNES, PS1 etc.

Why we need Recalbox if we have Retropie?

hello my dear eta prime. Unfortunately, according to the instructions, there is no share folder on the sd card. i wanted to load roms directly from the pc onto the sd card. why is the share folder missing? unfortunately I have to do it via wifi as usual. best regards jack
