Hope you guys enjoyed my top 15 best bands in the 70's I had fun making it sorry that I forgot Pink Floyd and Led Zepplin I thought they were in the 60's.

Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd were the biggest and most successful bands of the 70’s. My favorite band is AC/DC, but I know that led and Floyd were much bigger. The title of this video should be “my favorite bands of the 70’s”.

How can you do this list and not have led zeppelin and pink floyd in it?

My top 15 of the 70s : Led Zeppelin, Grand Funk Railroad, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Doobie Brothers, Thin Lizzy, George Harrison, Status Quo, Rory Gallagher, Eagles, Humble Pie, The Allman Brothers Band, Bad Company, Eric Clapton, John Lennon, Atlanta Rhythm Section. I also really like The Kinks and The Rolling Stones in the '70s, but I preferred to leave them off the list because they're classic 60's bands.

This list was doomed before it happened. You can't list a mere top "15" bands for the rock that came out of the 70's. It simply can't be done.

I seem to associate the majority of your picks with the 80's.
What happened to groups that did make it big in the 70's like: Pink Floyd, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, Yes, Queen, Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Uriah Heep, Santana, Blue Oyster Cult, the Rolling Stones, Sly and the Family Stone, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and The Clash (the only band that matters)? I can go on and on. But to pick groups like: AC/DC, Rush, Kiss, ZZ Top, and Ted Nugent as being a part of, I just don't see it. I didn't discover the 70's from YouTube, I lived it. That was my time to be a teenager and shine!!!
P.S. some groups did start out in the very late 60's, but did not become a household name until the 70's. I did however, enjoy the background music!!!!

CAN, KRAFTWERK, NEU!, TANGERINE DREAM, HAWK WIND, MOTORHEAD, THE STOOGES, PATTI SMITH GROUP, TELEVISION, THE RAMONES, THE CLASH, JOY DIVISION, THE CRAMPS, and a lot of punk post punk bands that started in the late 70's

What about Emerson Lake and Palmer?? From 1970 to 1974, They were the top band in the world! Selling out whole stadiums! How can you not have them? All the bands you posted were good, but ELP was the absolute best! The cream of the crop!
