it doesn't matter how "overrated" you think one band is, you can't deny that each of the bands on this list had a lasting effect on the punk scene. hell, sex pistols and ramones are like the fathers of punk, so they deserve the spots where they are. it really doesn't matter if you dislike the band. you can't deny the influence that each band on this last had.

ohh all the hate towards Green Day... I myself like all kinds of Punk. Ramones, Black Flag, Descendents, Blink-182 and The Story so far.

Please for all the people hating on Green Day, as I watch this channel more and more can tell they are also not only focusing one genre but sub genres. Yes Green Day is not Punk but they are pop punk. That is a sub genre of punk. Have some sense before you blast on a band who has been around probably longer then you have been born. This channel likes to branch out in sub genres and I think that’s very responsible and that shows that the creators of this channel have a open mind and that’s what makes anything about Rock and Metal amazing. Having an open mind. So please use your brain before you speak

Green Day is awsome but there debut album to Nimrod/ Insomniac, I can't remember which one was released first, was punk, American Idiot and the albums following are pop punk

All I care about is that Ramones are #1, nothing else matters. But I would've put sex pistols at 2 and dead Kennedys at 3.
