How to Fill Big GAPS in Wood with Wood Filler Guaranteed! Fix Large Gaps in Wood DIY!

Filling large gaps in wood with stainable wood filler is very easy and effective! In this video I will show you step by step how to fix big gaps DIY and carve the wood filler/wood putty like a sculpture to get the shape you want! Wood filler for large gaps is ideal to get great results! I used Famowood stainable wood filler in this project and show you how to apply the wood filler into huge gap/crack I had in my wood molding!

I can promise you 99.9% of people will never ever walk into that room and notice whatever imperfections you're worried about on your repair job, however a much, much larger percentage of people WOULD immediately have noticed the large gaping space. Another tip also, when you have a gap that big you should fill 3/4 of it with that clay filler they sell at hardware stores. They are super cheap. Then you should put wood filler over it. Doing this will give it better uniformity and also give it more stable foundation for the wood filler to mold to...

It's really interesting to see the view from inside a house when it's snowing. I've never lived anywhere that it snows. 42 years and I've only seen it snow few times and never stick on the ground. So cool.

thank you, I will now go and buy some clay filler and wood filler because I need to fill two casings on my door which I installed to make the large gaps disappear to hide the spacing between the casing to make it look like a seamless joined angle.

Very well done.... and you can’t even tell it’s imperfection up close... the only criticism I have is when you use painters tape and you use wood filler, caulking, paint, etc. you should score it with a knife first before you pull out that tape or it will peel off something you don’t want damaged.... this job you did tho is really well done. Bravo 👏
