There's another conversation option when you first meet SODUS. After telling you how long until your task will complete, you can say that you're a general in the Enclave. At that point she will reduce the task time by 50%. Not helpful, but humorous.

I think this is my favorite quest location in the game so far. Not because of the location itself but the creepy environment. I want more of that.

Don’t forget there’s also a pink paste experiment in the VTU school experiment/practice vault. SODUS may have taken that and dialed up the intensity on whatever it was they used to clog people’s arteries in that experiment.

I can’t believe it. The fate of the Enclave research division including “JJ” at the proverbial hands of SODUS actually made me pity and sympathise for them.

I would really appreciate the opportunity to destroy SODUS for her horrific actions. At the same time in all cases, they really should build AIs incapable of harming humans either through hardwiring them with no-kill restrictions or by simply not giving them the ability to influence anything that could harm a human.

The enclave station is also great for grinding XP because enemies respawn only one minute after you leave.

It was nice watching this little series and seeing all the possible outcomes as I haven’t done multiple play throughs and I’m still not done with the main quest line and since I just switched consoles it’s nice seeing content when I have to start over 😅

PS: SODUS is a riff on SHODAN... the insane AI from System Shock... even SODUS' voice is a throwback to that classic horror RPG.

Hi 👋🏻 Ox & fellow commenters. I really enjoy lab locations like this. All the freaky experiments in the vaults are what attracted me to the Fallout franchise. All the strange scenarios. I know these days they usually just use the same creatures in tanks and on surgical tables, but there’s still something to it. I don’t know what it is exactly, but finding out about individual cells & matching them with their experimented on inhabitants does it for me, so thanks for the detailed cross referencing! 👍🏻 Killer robots/AIs are also a running theme, but I still find it enjoyable. But, man! That cliffhanger! Right before getting to the mainframe. If I had balls, they’d be blue! 😳🤣 But, the strategy keeps us coming back for more, you sly dog, you! Hope you’re having a great weekend. I have a dentist appointment Monday, so we’ll see if I can make it to Mass Effect Monday.

Waiiiit. That's not how radio waves work...
It's why we have an elaborate satellite network in LEO.
Unless the US military somehow managed to boost radio waves into gamma waves, or literally used fiber optic technology, they would need a systemic, working network to transmit that across the US. Remember that WV is approximately 2500 miles away from CA.
