A similar incident happened in my town of Maysville Kentucky back in the 80's. Some friends were exploring an abandoned hospital when one of these creatures chased them and almost got one of them. He had some cuts on his leg from the creature supposedly. I think there was a police report for the interested.

I first heard this story years ago, through an interview with one of the four boys in the story, on Dogman Radio I think . Recently, I've heard it retold through several creators, some of them interviewing the experiencer. Every single time I've heard it, the story has been totally consistent. Some retellings might have more details or may be a more streamlined version, but the story and sequence of happenings has never changed. That says something in itself. I find that terrifying, almost more than the actual story. Thanks for another great narration!

I listened to the interview multiple times, and each time I grew much more curious and scared, when I saw the notification of this episode this morning, my eyes grew wide and I had the biggest smile on my face, I literally said "Oooooh" 😂 this is my fav episode so far.

Holy shit, I listened to the interview with this dude on What Lurks beneath and it was terrifying. One thing that stood out, was Matts dream... this thing knew he was talking about it... and he was actively hunting him down and would find him eventually. This thing has Matts number.

I heard this guy’s story during an interview just a month ago, and I thought back then “how great would it be if Bedtime Stories covered this?” I’m so glad you guys did! One of the most chilling and haunting stories I’ve heard, whether true or not.

Anyone else recollect some of the tales/events told in previous episodes regarding the missing 411 and "There's Something in the Woods"? Remember how several of the witnesses described things moving as if it was intangible or incorporeal; at least one person even managed to get a picture. What if...

Matt Emsch is a good dude and he has never strayed from details about this harrowing encounter.. one of the best and most terrifying of Dogman Encounters you'll ever hear. I can't imagine the utter terror these guys went through. It'd be a life-changing event for sure, if you were ever as lucky as they were, I mean, to survive this nightmare.
