How are you going to retain your electrolytes after drinking 80 ounces of water in a single day, every day? The beginning— and end — of hydration is electrolytic balance.

Water — the actual drinking of purified water — is a modern invention that has very little to do with it, and that part mostly deleterious. Pure, refined water, like refined sugar or refined flour or refined msg, does not exist in nature. It is, essentially in the character of a supplement, to be taken on as-needed basis and not to be abused. This is why athletes die all the time from drinking purified water for hydration, and the record of an athlete actually dying of desiccation is non-existent.

Dehydration is not a lack of water, it is an electrolyte imbalance. Why? Because, like fat, your body has gobs of water stored away at anytime . It can always access that water for its needs — provided the minerals that will facilitate that exchange are adequately supplied. The body has a wonderful mechanism tor recycling water. And if you are not sweating during the day, you almost don’t need to drink purified water — but you still need to take adequate hydrating minerals for proper homeostatic balance.

When you follow this ordinary way of hydration, you may pee thick. But so what? Thick urine is not a sign of dehydration— hear that? The only animal on earth that aspires for “clear” pee is the human being. And it is this same animal that readily dies of dehydration. Show me that other land animal that pees clear — you won’t find it.

So, focus on the minerals. Take some sips of water during the day. Don’t drink water like camels or ruminants — while sitting at your desk in your air conditioned office or apartment.

"Hydration is movement and it's other things." Can you please make a video about movement and other things? Here's a great way to start "Movement, it's hydration and other things."

How is either of those salts good for your thyroid? Celtic salt contains 3 different magnesium compounds which is good for cell hydration but one of the compounds contains bromide and another contains chloride which the thyroid will try to use in place of iodine to make the T compounds if it cannot find iodine. That is not good at all and is why those salts have a warning about iodine intake.

Also, celery has one of the highest concentrations of nitrates of any source so how is drinking a lot of celery juice good for you? Adding a couple of stalks of celery to a juice mix is good but I would not want to concentrate it.
