Also, little fun fact, when applied correctly true CAT tourniquets from NAR were found to stop arterial bleeds 100% effectively with 3 full rotations of the windlass.

100% on carrying two. We had an accident in front of work the other day and a E brake pedal went through the drivers leg. We had to use 2 just to stop the arterial spray.

If you don’t have the kit you can do multiple wraps of cloth tied in a square knot. Mark the time circulation was cut, typically on the forehead.

Good video. I've found it's "easier" when applying one on yourself to have the strap facing inwards, towards the center of your body. You can usually pull harder and can generally get a lot more slack out of the TQ before you start cranking it down.
