I am now 75 and I made dinner every single night for my kids and husband. I also worked outside the home, got the kids to sports, ballet and theater. It wasn't hard cause I knew it was soo important. .My 3 kids are doing the same thing with their families now.
It just takes a little planning. It makes a big difference in their lives and feeling of inclusion and self worth.

My son. It's been 6 years, 7 months and 4 days since he passed. Just one more day, one more time to hug him and tell him I love him...

This just proves that kids just wants their parents TIME.. Pack a picnic, doesn't have to be expensive, find a little park somewhere where y'all can just explore a little bit, and i guarantee they will have a ball.. It doesn't take a lot of money to make amazing memories with your kids . They just want your love and time.. you can't put a price on just spending time with your kids . ❤❤

A wonderful reminder that this kind of innocent and incomprehensible love only comes from a child.

My grandmother, I miss her every day. I wish I could have one more dinner with her and tell her everything I regret never sharing before. I want to hug her again and hear her tell me she loves me.

Voiceover Guy: If you could have dinner with anyone living or dead, who would you choose?
Me: living.

This brook my heart. Children are indeed innocent and their innocence is so heart warming and always gets us every time.

This goes to show you that while that child might not be your whole life, you are probably theirs. ❤❤❤

I want my dad back to laugh with him, tell our war stories to each other, reminiscence all the good and bad and to tell him I love him. That I am thankful for everything he has given me. He passed away in Dec 2023. For most my adult life I was away from home serving in the Marines. I remember the look of pride he had when I completed bootcamp, when I came home on leave and share stories of all these things I saw and did. I truly miss him.

My grandpa. If it were possible I’d sit with him on board his ship on the mess deck, USS PC-593, a coastal patrol ship during WW2, me at the same age I was in the Navy. Yeah, that would be awesome. Miss you grandpa.

My husband (passed 6 years ago) imagine being able to have dinner with him one more time. How wonderful that would be.

My Great Grandma McKee, she passed when I was 5 years old. I have so many things I just want to talk to her about. One being our family history and what her life was like. I just a connection with her and I still feel it today.

I'm crying.
What I wouldn't do to sit with my grandparents again (all deceased) and have them meet my kids.
At least both my grandmothers got to meet my wife...
