As a native speaker, I would say "have lunch" is a little more natural, but "eat lunch" is correct and totally fine to say.

I say have lunch. Then again both of my parents spoke English as a 2nd language ( Mom French/Dad Hungarian). Just in case you want to practice your English, I will tell you what I am having for lunch. Finncrisp crakerbread with smoked salmon and cream cheese on top. To drink, I am having a LaCroix curate sparkling water, blackberry cucumber flavor.

If you open English file books you will find "to have lunch", "to have a coffee", if you aren`t talking about the process of eating or drinking it, I think better to use the polite versions, so he is correct

I’m sorry I’m confused. He didn’t say something wrong right? Because both “eat and have” are correct. Then why did you put check marks on “have” but an X on “eat”?
Can someone explain it to me that? Thanks

Google is misleading non natives including me. I just googled this before I watched this video and it says that saying I eat lunch is rarely used

Is it correct to say " I usually eat lunch at work " ?

Can we use 'has' instead of eat? Like using 'have'. Today I saw a video where English teacher says this ' she has medicine everyday. Also refer this sentence is simple present tense 😳

Please, can you make a video explaining the difference between nationality and adjective.
I watched most videos only explaining about a country and a nationality, one of those videos someone teaching America is a noun and American is adjective, but as far as I know that adjective shouldn't start with a capital letter if doesn't come at the beginning of the sentence, as I learnt that only proper nouns start with a capital letter..so that's really confusing me 😩
