Our population is increasing by 1 million new people every week, while every 2 seconds the rainforest loses an area the size of a football field. Thank you for having this Lady on. I saw her movie (which I thought was Musician Moby's production) a year ago, and it was excellent, but disturbing. Funnily enough I felt at the time it was a little too sanitised. I think things will get much messier when we all get hungry and sicker. I hope she is able to stay strong and continue her work.
I do feel its important to say that the push for veganism is based on incorrect information and understanding of how regeneration of the land, and even how our topsoils are built. I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE REDICULOUS INDUSTRIALISED SYSTEMS OF ANIMAL PRODUCTION. NOR THE CLEARING OF MORE LAND. They are by all accounts just revolting in every way. Nor the industrialised non animal crops and production.
But I care for my family's small cattle farm and after learning about regenerative systems...we are building back better. Our cows are happy and grassfed, no chemicals . They are chewing and pooing and our land is a carbon sink. The environment is so complex, and beautiful too.
I feel one of the priorities is stopping trashing everything...poison, chemicals, clearing land.
Sadly at the end she was discussing numbers of views on her film. I imagine she was just preaching to the converted . It is hard to watch this stuff.
