Couple of key points. The wiping is just the desert map and buildings in the pvp zone.

Slowly prepares my rifle in the middle of the desert with Dune awakening in-game store in my cross hairs. I place my wallet on a rock and aim. Suddenly Funcom peeks through the rocks next to me. "Clever girl".

Funcom is a company with great concept on online games but they lack talent when it comes to animation, combat and graphics engine.
I rly hope this game brings an improvement to this

I think 1000 players is fine. Maybe bump it to 1500 but if you get too large, it might actually be annoying since you would have no rest. If there's people everywhere it would get too crowded. Also or you would have to make the map even larger which could make traversal more annoying with really large distances

The only thing that bothers me about the graphics is that it looks way too colorful especially the desert I thought it would be a lot more bright and blinding like the trailers but it's a lot more orange then the trailers

Commenting to say the Spice "Booms" are only in deep desert! Also if the basically server cap happened in the deep desert they said they would do sandstorms and police to push people out!

Yo Jay u bloody, what about Conan Exiles, and as far as i know its same comp[any doing it, also for what they presented with housing/base building i hope map will be at least 1000 square kilometers cause i dont see thousands of players with thier own bases in the world at the same time. Or they gonna change idea and we gonna build cities with other players?

Seeing as PVP has literally been destroyed in Conan Exiles, by cheats and Dupes, could be a big concern when it comes to Dune.
Another big Concern is that Conan Exiles pretty much ignores any Console issues such as Rubber Banding and Lag, and of course Funcoms Speedy way of fixing any bugs. ie (Invisible Animals) which took Funcom Over NINE months to fix, is a major concern I have with Dune, Funcoms Newest game.
I need to be 100% sure that these problems Console has, isn’t repeated in Dune, plus I need to see actual Console Game play before I give Funcom any more money at all.

I feel like the combat is a bit too arcade-ish and the abilities/skills take away from the more survival aspect of the game.

They should have taken a few notes from "the last of us" in terms of the gathering system, bullets/darts should be a rare item and used sparingly and do more damage rather than having too riddle an enemy with a whole mag.The combat should be more impactful and dynamic than what was shown it looks like they focused more on abilities/skills and gun-play rather than actual hand to hand combat
