Unlike the Mad Max game that came out a few years ago, this game looks like its taking HEAVY inspiration from the Denis Villeneuve films. It seems like its not trying to be a movie tie in game but has an identical scene from the movie in it. Instead of using the source material to come up with the own ideas. Even down to using the exact ornithopters from the movie instead of making something different based on how the books described them.
