I'm still on Ventura 13.6.3. I'm not really interested in all the new gimmicks. In terms of performances, stability/bugs, and compatibilities, do you currently feel it was worth upgrading to Sonoma?

None of the performance issues accessing files on external drives were fixed. I’m still greeted too many crashes every day, the mostly background processes, but abs as well. Transparent monochrome widgets are still broken after switching between spaces. I’m sure there’s other issues I can’t think of right now, but essentially none of the major issues I’m having has been fixed since the initial release of Sonoma. I didn’t have any issues prior to Sonoma, so it’s definitely the common factor in everything

There’s an ongoing bug with refresh rate on 60hz when using the pinch to zoom feature and zooming into jpegs in the preview app. The zooming in is very choppy. Very apparent on M2 air

It seems they finally fixed the fast user switching bug with fingerprints. I haven't had any issues switching between my personal and work account since updating 14.2. 👏
