Fall Speckled Trout Wanted THIS Topwater!

If you've been watching my videos then you know that I've been catching easy limits of speckled trout!

So I felt it was time to embrace the grind and throw suspending baits and topwater lures for higher-quality speckled trout.

And that's exactly what I did.

It took a little bit to get them dialed in, but once I did it was a speckled trout topwater smash-a-thon, with MANY topwater blowups!

I had a GREAT day watching specks blow up a topwater plug and even being fortunate enough to hook into a good deal of them.

But these fish aren't being kept for the cleaning table!

Instead, they were released to fight another day.

Great video. Fish always feed crazy when a storm is coming through because of the drop in the barometric pressure. I love fishing just at the start of the rain.

Stayed in the pocket like drew brees with the storm clouds.
I can only do that when I’m fishing alone. People get VERY scared. Well done - plus the joy of top water is like nothing else.
To me, this was a special time fishing.
