Got mine, extremely happy I took the chance. But I did order when things were getting back on track and everyone is getting there new in stock orders etc. I love dd+ I switched over from simagic as I needed something for ps5 to use wirh friends. I was already used to 15nm with my alpha so went ok I'll do this. We'll it ended up replacing my alpha now lol. It's so strong the center weight and feel just never goes away and only loosens when losing grip. It has forces 100% of the time no dead spots like the older dd1 and dd2. Fanatec did amazing snd the detail is very pronounced yet feels polished. So it's not to sharp or to soft. It also doesn't oscillate so they seem to have this thing dialed in fantastically.

Ordered a CSL DD bundle 2 weeks ago, been in "handover to warehouse" for 10 days, everything is in stock, nothing has shipped. I fully regret letting people convince me they have their logistics fixed, they very much do not. Can't even cancel it at this point, I have to do a chargeback, which I have to assume is gonna start affecting their ability to accept payments soon. I'm basically waiting to the end of the month to either have a friend go to Microcenter in DC and get me Moza stuff, or find out how that turtle beach thing turned out.

As a Fanatec user, I am happy I got my DD Plus now. I was a bit afraid to update it, but it went good and no coll whine. So love it on my Ps5. Now waiting for a F1 wheel with display

My previous experiences with Fanatec led me to go with a Simagic Alpha Ultimate base and I don’t regret it one bit. Their customer support has always been lacking.

Confusion over Fanatec shipping times is still evident. I decided to gamble and placed an order for the extreme bundle with V3 pedals. Website stated end of March for shipping of the extreme bundle. I ordered 28th of feb. UPS have my parcel, it’s due in the U.K. on Wednesday ! I’m not counting my chickens yet, so to speak. But I do have some hope that it will arrive well before I had expected. Hopefully it all works out of the box 🙏

I was in the process of building a PC when i purchased my Podium equipment so i started on Console.

When i switched to PC to play ACCi had to turn my gain down from 80(on console) to 55 on the PC and the feel was totally game changing! I never looked at a console again.

honestly ive had a good time with my fanatec stuff, my csl elite ps still works great, i am getting the dd extreme gt bundle, but for me it being ps, xbox and pc compat is great for me as i use all three, thats why i got the csl in the first place. but when i got majority of my stuff i didnt have any issues with shipping. however i do get the console compat issues, because i went threw that with ps3 /ps4 wheel. i also have the mclaren wheel as wheel but i like to drift so it isnt good for that.

For some of us that only have a PS5 console. These other brands, like Moza or Simagic, are not an option. It seems Fanatec is basically the best we can get.

Canceled my DD+ order and went with Asetek La Prima bundle. Quality is amazing 🙌

I think it is a double edged sword here: I'm not rooting for fanatec here, but we really must understand 1 thing: dd and dd+ could be launched and the ceo could talk about it, because they were really controlling that subject. The force feedback is stronger in asseto corsa and godlike in iracing on pc...so many will settle for dd, because it's cheaper. The force feedback for gt7 and asseto corsa competizione on ps4 and 5 is not that strong...so I guess they try to level it by pushing more nm in the dd+. Also, if you want to build a ps compatible base, the security chip is sold separately by sony, directly to the producer. If Simucube or Asetek or any other producer want to produce ps compatible bases, they need to buy that chip from sony. This is why it was easy to talk about the base, but not the wheel. The wheel design patent belongs to poliphony. So unless you have a contract with them, you can't produce that design. Sure, you can produce a lot of rim styles, including replicas if you have a contract granting you the rights to do so....but the gt7 style wheel without a contract?...NO. I believe a massive law suit will follow, if you try doing that without poliphony "blessings". And since the interview was held in a period when fanatec was waiting the homologation from poliphony and sony, it really makes a lot of sense not talking about that bundle, and especially about that rim. Not to mention that usually the companies are establishing embargos on the disclosure of the future products. I believe that fanatec was also the subject for that embargo imposed by poliphony. But I do totally agree with what you have said about preorders....it's better to buy when it is available on the market. Preorders can be tricky as hell.

I don't believe a word of the poor excuses in this interview, and he was lying for certain like with the alleged e-mail that offers a refund. I was reading enough comments on the Fanatec-misery and there were people who needed to get their money back over Paypal. My theory: Fanatec needed liquidity and sold stuff that wasn't even produced yet, so they could actually pay for the production, or at least bump up their financial results for the year. Even if it's not the case, it's the fault of the CEO not being prepared when launching those big sell-offs and when a company like Fanatec does the hole distribution themself, they need a proper management system and enough staff to deal with it.

I think your ps3 console story is a bit dated.. I love playing gt7 and all my ps5 stuff is compatible with ps4 and pc so limited I am not but otherwise i agree with what your saying, I just purchased the logi g pro setup because I had zero faith that fanatec could deliver in a timely manner er and even if they did god forbid anything isn’t working or I need a part in the future I’d be screwed. Very happy with my decision.

The Fanatec community is a bit toxic as well. When somebody tries to express their difficulties and frustration on the Fanatec subreddit, they will usually get ridiculed and downvoted.

Bud you are a PC fanboy but some people don’t want to invest 2 k on a video card and like the console simplicity.

Go ahead dump on Fanatec but if some of the other companies provided support for consoles then they maybe able to compete.
