I've had mine since release as an upgrade from my g29, it's been amazing, no issues at all, buttery smooth and definitely a worthwhile upgrade.

I have decided to take the risk (with the delivery issues of Fanatec) their website said the products are in stock and ships between (4 - 7 Days)
on 25/06/2024 I purchased CSL DD + wheel and pedals from their website (at night)
on 26/06/2024 my order was marked as being processed
on 28/06/2024, my order was scanned by UPS in Hamburg, waiting for customs examination.
and it is estimated to be delivered on 03/07/2024 to my address in the UK

I would say it is pretty good and it has exceeded my expectations. It looks like they have sorted out their warehouse/operational issues...

I think the community should know that, and it's worth doing a positive video about it. After all the bad publicity they had, I am sure it will be a hit video.

Fanatec as a product is actually top quality, nothing wrong with it and it works fine. There will always be the odd issue with someone but overall, a very good brand. In my opinion, they are better than every other racing brand because of the widely supported wheels and wheelbases for consoles. Yes, there are issues regarding customer service and so on, but everything else is top notch!

Had my csl dd and pedals for 2 years. No issues. Ordered the csl cockpit, handbrake v1 and shifter recently, got it all 4 days later. Love it. Simple plug n play.

Fanatec should stop selling the QR1 with this wheelbase. Once I made the switch to the QR2, all trepidations about the quick release went away. The QR2 is rock solid! Too bad the new QR causes a markup on all of their steering wheels. An attractive price like the Clubsport F1 E-Sports' $220.00 price becomes a souring $320.00. A steering wheel I really want, the Clubsport RS ($300.00) is now a $400.00 purchase. Sorry but I don't think the RS is a $400.00 wheel even with the QR2. They are not doing themselves any favors with the QR2 tax. Oh well...

And if you do get a CSL-DD or a GTDD Pro, do yourself a favor and get a torque wrench. Torque the bolt on the collar down to spec and you'll never have the wheel unplug on you while racing. Also you should install it on to a sturdy wheel stand at the very least, and leave it there until you either sell it or upgrade to a cockpit. When I got my CSL DD I put it on my GT Omega Apex wheel stand, and not once did I remove it from the stand. I also didn't have to remove the RJ12 cable to my pedals since I initially installed them. No jack problems for me, and I frequently fold the stand and put it away when I am not racing. What I am saying is, a fairly permanent installation will mitigate 99% of the RJ jack issues.

Had mine delivered in 7 days.
Works just fine and i actually take care of it!
And in the video shoot off it working in this video i see the base moving and wiggling around, that doesn't seem to be well set up...
Take care of your stuff... and maybe things will last longer

I don't know what do people to their wheelbases, I have mine since 2 years and it holds very well, no defects whatsoever so far.

I ordered the CSL DD, McLaren wheel and pedals end of May and received them 5 days later. It’s all working perfectly and pleased to have chosen Fanatec. Planning on moving to QR2 throughout with purchase of a second wheel.

Only issue I had with my CSL DD is the clamp that comes with it, to clamp the QR1 base side to the wheel base is bad, comes loose overtime and it eventually damages the usb-c port, I asked fanatec for a replacement, they recently sent me a new QR1 within 2 weeks of my initial complaint, they gave me the new clamp that comes with the QR2 and now it’s way more solid

coming up on a year of QR1 Lite. no problems. no cracking, popping, creaking, nothing. It’s fine if you’re not literally pulling on your wheel as hard as you can.

I have had my CSL DD for just a bit under a year, with the old quick release and the cheapest plastic QR1. I did not beat it up as some people did, I will admit that, I never had enough time to simrace consistently, over the year I've put just a couple hundred hours in various sims, mainly iRacing. I don't have the 8nm booster, just the default 5nm one and I haven't experienced any problems with my wheel and the quick release itself. No crackling, no loose wheel, it works fine. I will, however, buy the whole QR2 conversion kit when I eventually buy the 8nm booster.
Overall I am pretty happy with it, it's my first simracing wheelbase ever so I might not have much comparison, but the quality of the shaft and the ports in my case is good, and I can't even complain about the plastic QR1.
The only issue here that somewhat affected me was the long shipping. I did actually place my order a bit before the black friday sale so it didn't take THAT long as I live right next to Germany, but it was quite slow as compared to anything I have ever ordered that wasn't from China lol.
