Tex-Mex Chili Dip Video 2

8 oz, block of cream cheese, softened at room temp
1 can of chili
1 can of corn, drained
2 jalapeños, with the seeds and ribs removed, diced
1 can of diced tomatoes or rotel tomatoes with chilies
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
2 1/2 cups sour cream
dried chives or diced green onions
and garnishes to decorate the dip

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a baking dish we're going to layer our dip.
First layer is soften cream cheese and spread it into the bottom of a baking dish.
Second layer is chili.
Third layer is corn.
Fourth layer is diced jalapeños.
Fifth layer is diced tomatoes.
Sixth layer is shredded cheese.
Now pop the dish into the oven and let in bake for 30 minutes.
When dip is done baking, let it rest for 10 minutes before we put the sour cream on.
Now layer sour cream on on top of your dip.
Then sprinkle dried or fresh finely diced chives.
Then garnish with your decorations like bell peppers or finely chopped cilantro, chopped black olives or etc..
Serve warm wit tortillas chips.

That looks so good! I’m going to have to try that. It’s too late for Halloween but I’m sure I can find other occasions to make it like for Christmas and put Christmas trees and maybe snowmen or bulbs. But it looks good enough to eat any time. With or without decorations on top. Maybe just top with green onions or anything to just give it some color on top. Thanks for the recipe.

Hey Sara! This is very creative and thank you for sharing! Make the red pepper strips a bit longer and make them have 8 legs and you got some cool spider decorations on top of a nice classic layered dip. Even better, get some yellow and green bell peppers too and make it colorful!
