This the most useful, accurate, and concise explanation of how bad this monitor failed (I own it). How the hell did a monitor of this caliber get released without the ability to use multiple HDMI sources at once. Useless 55 inch screen size when it comes to productivity which was a massive feature that was advertised. This is basically a TV trying to be a monitor.

When you use a multiple monitor setup for your PC, they’re not hooked up to different sources. They’re all hooked to the PC.

Sure, they use separate inputs, but that’s so you can expand your work area using the additional monitors from a single source; your PC.

Guess what? You can use this monitor like 4 27” monitors. You can open up all the apps/browsers you would normally, but instead of putting them on a different monitor, you just slide each one into a different quadrant and you’re good to go.

Sure, it would be nice for it to be able to use multiple sources at the same time, but that’s also not what you do when you use multiple monitors. It’s all still from the same source, you’re just cutting out the additional wires/screens by using this one huge monitor.

I only needed a big screen to fit more windows in it and gaming and it does all of this for me. So in a sense, it replaces a multi-monitor setup. But I can see how it can be a problem if you want to have different sources on one screen.

Just open multiple apps and minimize them and place them where you want. Now that said, if you would like to use an app feature that needs a second monitor (like undocking your edit window in resolve for example) then yes, that is an issue. But aside from that it functions as if you have several monitors connected into one display.

There are apps to split the screen up and run it like multiple monitors. This monitor is still worth the buy.

they basically stuck 3 large monitors together, made them seemless. Slapped a curve and and a apple stand onto it and installed webOS.

You can stream almost any app or program while running the one hdmi. It definitely works great and takes away need for multi hdmis. I like it better. I got steam. Xbox. YouTube. Every app all streams and the thing works great this is a bad review. If you like the monitor for what it is it’s freaking amazing

You clearly didn't do your research....it wasn't suppose to be meant to be considered as 4 different monitors for displays, also why would you need that with what the ark obviously does so many other things, to each their own opinion
