“Come to me all who are heavy laden and I’ll give your probation” the legalist’s bar of all bars for a self righteous hymnal 😂 I laugh because it’s painfully true… my first 10 years intro to the faith felt like that… they were mad when I brought up grace…
Been watching so many of Theocast’s videos and my mind is blown by both what I have believed and what orthodoxy actually is! Thank you so much! You guys are helping my husband and I so very much 🙏🏽

Perfectly said.
"Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully..." - 1 Timothy 1:8

Amen. The law of God is "pure, englightening the eyes" (Ps.19)
It shows how exceedingly sinful sin is! (Rom7)
The key here is "THEN we preach Christ!"
He. Is. Our. Righteousness!

We don't have to resist sin anymore. Thanks to Christ, we don't have to worry about whether we are sinning or not. We can live easily now, not doing the hard work of resisting temptation.

With man, this is impossible. But with God, everything is possible. He who remains in Him does not sin (and I am NOT implying imputed righteousness - if the Son sets you free you will be free indeed). Apart from me, you can do nothing says Jesus. But if you sin, then: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all iniquity

This sounds pretty good but just to be clear I'm not hearing you say that repentance is not necessary to salvation correct?

I’m struggling with this right now. I believe in Christ and have put my faith in him, yet I’m struggling with some earthly sins that I feel are going to lead me straight to hell. I’m exhausted and feel constantly condemned and feel like giving up because I’ll never get into heaven unless I quit the sins that I ask God time and time again to take from me or help me at least resist.

Matthew 5:17-20
I struggle with the whole law thing. I know we are not under the law of Moses, yet we are under the law of Christ. I am still trying to learn what this means for me in practical terms.

If follow Jesus’ 2 commandments in the NT you won’t break the 10 from the OT.

'We preach the law', I think that's the problem right there.

Your sins are forgiven, now get on the hamster wheel of sanctification! lol

The vast majority of stories involving jesus were added to the bible 300 to 400 years AFTER he died. He who has not sinned, cast the first stone? Greek parable added to the bible during one of its many retranslations.

I can see why these guys get accused of Antinomianism and such… I understand you guys pointing the believer to Christ, ( as you should) but I think it’s almost at the neglect of having some videos with more of a focus on sin and repentance, and walking in the light opposed to the darkness. Grace is a beautiful thing to rest in, but knowing the path of Darkness and evilness that God has taken you off of is also a beautiful thing to speak throughly about as well… it’s like he hyper focuses on a theology similar to Free Grace

"We're afraid that 'God' and the 'law' are going to come back around in the end.." Bro, where do you think 'God' is or where did He go that He's not coming back around in the end? With His ways? Lol, you preach against it because you fear it. You should fear it and accept it, instead of cherry picking verses to make yourselves feel better.
