Do words of Jesus from Matthew 7:21-23 "I never knew you; depart from me," cause you concern? Do you often wonder, "Is Jesus possibly speaking about me?" How do we discern to whom Jesus will cast out? Should we live in fear that we will finally be rejected by Christ for not doing enough? Was that his intention? Or did he mean something else?

I think the key is that those who come up to Jesus are bringing their WORKS to Jesus ("Jesus, look at what we did in your name!"). No amount of our works, even if "done in Jesus' name" can merit us eternal life.

Thank you brother... needed to hear this! If salvation depends on me, even 1%, I'm doomed !!!

Great word !! We never ever want to doubt our salvation !! When we do, we are always looking and depending on our self and not Christ !!

Yah, nothing to worry about. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Being worried about my salvation is no basis for assurance of salvation.

I tried to talk to a woman today who believe she has to repent every day to stay saved, I explained the gospel to her, and she threw it all back in my face and declared she must maintain her relationship with Christ to stay saved. I am glad that I don't need to do that to stayed saved. I trust Christ alone to get me into heaven and nothing else.

It's difficult to describe how much hope and clarity you privided in this video. Praise God for His wonderful grace.

Those people who heard that point to their works as the reason they knew Him and that is exactly the opposite of what you want in front of Jesus! It is grace alone through faith alone!!

Yes. The work or will of the father is that we would look upon the son and believe. John 6:40! Our good works are like filthy rags to God, so there is nothing we can do to try to earn salvation. The only way is to have faith in what christ did, alone.

Easy: don’t rely on your works to save you. It’s all about Jesus and what he did.

He is casting away the old nature. We are all self-righteous, but we died to self-righteousness at the cross. My self-righteousness is still alive and well on earth. Abide where your salvation is complete: in the heavenly places.

you come to christ, by trusting him as saviour : forsaking all work & all he has done

In this context, the Lord Jesus Christ never confirmed they were doing good works, only working iniquity. That’s because they weren’t His. Jesus knows His sheep and he won’t lose one!

This is the simplest verse in the bible to understand. No confusion whatsoever. It's only confusing to mainstream Christians in 2023.

I can't help to think how it makes the Lord sad and disappointed that so many people reject him and the work he did. It sickens me when I hear some people deny that he even existed. How could a fake book stand the test of time? Today is the day to live for the Lord, not waiting until the last moments before your life is over.

The truth is a few minutes ago I am crying out to God to tell me whether I would be cast out because I always struggle with repetetive sin and this makes me nervous

Matthew 7
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
John 6
40 For this is the will of My Father: that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.
