Mr Incredible finds out the truth about RTX 40 Series

It's looking very suspicious; the 192 bit bus on 12GB RTX 4080 is the same as a 60 Series Class, Really? Does this mean that This card was originally meant to be The RTX 4060 and we're just paying Nvidia a lot for less, let me know what you guys think. #rtx4090 #RTX40

4x the processing. Reminds me of 16x the detail in Fallout 76

It's great that you included other channels from youtube, it adds to the drama knowing everybody are aware of what Nvidia is doing. Good stuff 👍

im getting *”16x THE DETAIL”* vibes from the extra performance 😂

Nvidia really wants AMD to succeed. Good for them.

Customers: "You can't sell a mid range gpu for $900"

Nvidia: "hold my 4060ti"

It seems like Nvidia tried to see how far they can push it, after the price increase during the previous generations . I am holding on to see what they learnt in future launches and how AMD can compete .

really makes sense why EVGA finally told Nvidia no.

I didn't even realize that the 4080 12GB (4070) had a 192 bit bus, that's ridiculous.
The number of cuda cores was already a joke but this is even worse.
Even a gtx 1070 has a 256 bit bus.

Keeping the 40-series prices stupidly high was expected since they allegedly have a bunch of 30-series cards they want to get rid of, yet refuse to put on sale. This way most people's only realistic go-to option will be a 30-series card for the nearest future.

However, intentionally hamstringing high-end 40-series cards with a small memory bus also leads me to speculate that, either Nvidia intends to produce the 40-series for "a while" and will widen the bus for "ti" and "super" variants down the line, or the 50-series isn't as good as they had hoped so they're intentionally making this generation worse in order to artificially make the 50-series perform better because it'll have a wider bus from the get-go.

Or both.

22 FPS real performance in "Cyberpunk 2077" with RTX4090 is the best part of presentation

The fatter the GPU, the thinner the wallet remains

Incomplete.

if this generation fails, it means that previous generation cards are going to get a lesser price drop meaning i still have to wait for next gen to buy a 1050

While the top of the line.. bleeding edge graphics cards are in shambles in terms of excessive pricing.. i am just happy that older GPUs are getting quite affordable..

So Basically, Nvidia has too much overstock of last-gen cards. 3090's, 80's, 70's, 60's etc.
To compensate, this newer generation the 40 series cards will be sold at roughly twice the price until the inventory of the last-gen cards is exhausted. Which, when it is, the cards will assume their proper prices.

But...there's more:

nVidia is selling next-gen 4060 class products and rebranding them as 4080's under even higher prices than 3090's. That was the main point Linus is making. It's a scam!

You'll buy either an overpriced next-gen card or a price-fixed last-gen card. Either way, you are screwed.

I hope this all backfires on nVidia.
I also hope AMD unveils something worth buying in November.

I see Nvidia is taking the Intel route..thinking they’ll always be the preferred choice and do whatever they want with price to performance ratio. Their day will come

These GPUs are going to be bigger than the PCs they're meant to be installed in at this rate.
