I see that "slowing down while merging" a lot. I think they know you are there and are expecting you to go ahead. They are only looking in their mirror and can't see you in their blind spot. So, if you keep slowing to let them in, they keep slowing waiting to see you pass them. Once (and I only did this when there were no cars in sight behind) one of these guys slowed down to nearly a stop, eventually looked over their shoulder, finally saw that I was still in back them (also almost stopped) and they finally accelerated. Also, I don't know if it is the same in all states, but in my state during the merging the vehicle that has the right of way is - neither. The ramp is considered part of the lane and neither vehicle has right of way.

the guy who said really my dude is at fault. the other vehicle gave him the turning signal several seconds before he switched the line. REALLY MY DUDE is a question you should asked yourself. Turning Signal means Slow down. It doesn't mean accelerate before I switch lines. the guy driving the truck is the same guy. He is just looking for footage. He blames other for his lack of sympathy for his fellow drivers. He knows the lines converged, yet he keeps on accelerating to block the other guy. Just look at the speed he was going, but when he sees the vehicle to the right he accelerates to block.

Perhaps you should look at your own driving be before you criticise others because you made some mistakes in this video and one potentionally serious one that could well have caused a major multi vehicle RTA.

Your kind of a bad driver as well though. My dad owns a trucking company and, yeah I’ve seen good driving. It’s not all these people in your video. Some of it is that you aren’t that great either.
