I know that it's impossible to not get caught up is somebody elses mess sometimes. When I am out on the road, I ALWAYS try to anticipate the other drivers not paying attention or following the rules/laws. It has kept me out of many crashes. Be defensive in your driving. Watching these videos it seems some of these accidents could have been avoided driving defensively.

It's truly mind boggling how many people just don't pay any f***ing attention to what's happening in their mirrors. Learning how to drive with my truck driver dad. That was one thing he couldn't stress enough. You should be checking your mirrors every 15 seconds in light traffic and 10 seconds in heavy traffic. Always know what's going on around you at all times.
