Is there a reason you sew from the backside instead of the front? Bobbin side always looks much worse usually and I feel like it would be easier to sew with the feet on the front with a cylinder arm

Reverse stitching was unnecessary as your could have just finished where you started. No need to reverse stitch this piece.
