Kyle is in Belgium with the new 2022 Volvo C40 Recharge! In this video he takes you for a driving review after spending a couple days driving this new electric crossover. The vehicle he is reviewing is the C40 "Twin", the 300kW dual motor AWD version with the 78kWh battery (gross) and 75kWh (usable).

Just bought a xc40 for my wife, and ordered a c40 for me. Would like to see some comparisons to the other EVs. One of the best things about these Volvo EVs is that they have traditional styling. No big PC looking monitor stuck on the dash for me. Thanks for the video.

Thank you so much. This is an awesome review! I have waited for this model to replace my Tesla Y with. Your review just help me make the decision! I am very excited. Once again, thank you so much for this awesome review.

Another great video! Would love to see a head to head comparison between the 2022 C40 and 2022 XC40 Recharge with a heat pump (range test comparison being the most interesting in my mind, as those two specs should be almost identical minus body design...).

Just an FYI about the piano black steering wheel XC40 gets those...momentum, Rdesign, inscription, gas, hybrid, full electric, all have the flat black. I have a gas XC40 Rdesign and it has flat black steering wheel buttons.

With the minimal viewing out the back due to the sloped rear end, there needs to be a camera for the rear view mirror like in other vehicles. That is one of the greatest tech advances and should be in every car made!

Does the US spec version come with pilot assist? The reviews of the Euro spec cars all mention it, but it’s conspicuously absent from the list of features on the Volvo USA site.

Great video. A comparison video of all of those small SUV‘s would be awesome.

It is what it is. Since they left Ford, Volvo has gone upmarket, because this was the only way to go with less than 500k cars sold per year. So you don’t get no plain Volvo as in the past and when you go to the dealer for an inspection or anything not covered by the guarantee the prices are quite spicy.
But they build cars that feel upmarket, so everything is done right.

Looks a lot like the Mach E. Don’t care about the animal free interior. I’m still going to eat a steak lol. 215 miles is ok but not great. Honestly think at $60k it’s at least $15k too expensive but that’s inflation I guess.

You may have convinced us to buy the C40. Could you please give your comparison to the Audi Q4 etron?

If you get a different exterior color, does the interior carpeting and door accent color match, or is it just black?

I hope the lease deals are as good as their other Volvos. lol
My vegan sister loves the animal free interior!! It's kinda the only reason she is driving a Mini Countryman. You can spec it with leatherette seats.
