I have a new Holley Sniper EFI and am using it on a SBC with existing MSD distributor (with mechanical tach drive) and MSD 5900 Blaster Ignition box.
The magnetic pickup wire pair (purple and green) goes from the MSD box to the MSD distributor. The Blaster box has the purple/green to the distributor, black to ground, red & orange to coil, and an unused white wire.
What wire do I run to the Sniper ECU for RPM?

What are the different coils can use? Was looking at sniper coil (556-153) msd blaster 2 coil, or a sniper hyper spark coil(556-152) with a sniper super stealth?

How do I perform the requirement your mention at 1:22, and does it mean that you disable the rev limit function of the 6AL (Digital, in my case)?

the sniper sucks so much air I thought I had a vacuum leak. When you fired that engine off it sounds the same so I guess it’s supposed to sound like that

Can you run the 6a w the holley hyperspark and an msd cylinder coil its on a 302 ho 88 but idk if i did mine right amd I dont have anyone in town that deals w this tech wo charging arms legs n everything else and even then new tech. I live in El Paso btw. But anyway if you can give me some pointer or even a diagram that I can go by. Id like to enjoy my product n stop spending so much shop time on this project. Thank you

Hello, I am interested in being able to use the EFi system in my ford y-Block that is today with msd 6al, it uses points for ignition and a blaster 2 coil, and on the dashboard I have a tachometer connected

How do you run a aftermarket tac if you are now hooking the sniper harness into the 6al box where the output for the tac is?

Questions though, I have an old MSD 6AL that isn't digital. Does it function and connect the same as the one you show?
Also, can I connect the ign hot wires from both the MSD 6AL and the Sniper's to the same wire from my ign switch?
Finally, what is the P/N of the cable at 8:03?

I have a sniper bbd with a 6AL CD box and a Pro Billet 2 wire distributor that is set to factory settings. I show good power at the cd box with a blinking light when cranking. The engine immediately fires and then dies, I have used the tach adapter wire and eliminated the yellow tach wire. The display read stall before starting and while cranking, it never shows any rpm. Setup wizard did not show an option for timing controlled or non timing controlled, I am using non timing controlled. ??

There has to be a way to do this with a stock HEI or any other distributor. I shouldn't need to spend an extra 1000.00 dollars to do this. Maybe an old Mallory with the same three wire hook up. Seems like there is something simple they don't want to tell us so we spend money on non needed components.

Can you use msd 8582 with the sniper efi? I know its magnetic pick up just want to get the okay on it.

firstly hello from Australia, i have a msd8350 ready to run distributor with a three wire output, I also have a msd6425 6AL CD box and sniper master kit, i need a wiring diagram to run the timing control, i have all the parts but i am all so confused with the instructions, a simple wiring diagram would be appreciated
