If you have a routine shot sequence, and a concrete aiming system, you can shoot a recurve or a longbow very accurately. And so, this video is for you. You guys that are out there that have always carried a compound bow into the woods or a crossbow, but always wanted to try a recurve or a longbow. This video is for you, those guys that have been struggling for three to five years shooting a recurve or a longbow instinctively, but are frustrated with your accuracy. This video is also for you guys that have or own a recurve or a longbow, and every spring you tell yourself "This is the year I'm going to carry a recurve or a longbow into the woods." But come August, you're not satisfied with your accuracy, and you fall back onto the compound, and the cycle continues. Well, this IS the year that you're going to carry your recurve into the woods. There are a hundred different ways to shoot a bow, and this is just one of them- a full aiming system that will help you shoot your recurve and longbow accurately. If you are completely satisfied with your shooting abilities with a recurve or a longbow, then this video is not for you. But if you want to be able to accurately shoot your bow within a short period of time, then this video is for you, and enjoy.

I am 65 years old and have been shooting, off and on, casually since I was a young teenager. I learned more about archery by watching this 2 hour video than the sum of all I have learned over the last 50+ years. Thank you for putting this video out there for folks like me who enjoy shooting a bow but haven't done the in-depth research to enjoy it that much more.

This man literally made his own archery guide from all the fragments of information he gathered online and personal experience. It shows even in the world of internet we need excellent teachers.

I harvested a doe at 28 yards with a 40# Samick Sage this past season. I set up my fixed crawl two years ago. This video was the reason. Thank You!

I am an instructor pilot for military combat aircraft. It is my professional opinion that this is an excellent instructional video. My friend you have a particular flair for picking out what information is most important and presenting it in a way and at a speed that makes learning easy and entertaining. Thank you for this video.

I'm in the UK, been an archer for 18 yrs, learned more about this subject/passion of ours watching this vid, than I have going to archery clubs here in all that time. I am now a traditional shooter and independent of clubs in England (they only care about Olympic style target archery, I couldn't even shoot an English longbow at my last club). This is like a breath of fresh air, I will watch this vid until I can recite every word! So well explained in plain language and with practical demo's - I love it, I feel as if the scales have been taken from my eyes. Thank You, Thank You so much. God bless America!

This is, beyond any doubt, the best how-to (on ANY topic) video I have ever watched.

My 7 yr old daughter has repeatedly expressed interest in archery. And I`ve wanted to get into it myself for years. This video has removed all doubt and trepidation and launched us on this new adventure in great stead.

Huge thanks @ThePushArchery

I'm 25, maybe a bit late to archery but better late than never, loved the idea of archery since I was a kid, its an art.

I don't know how to thank you. Watched this before bed last night could not wait to get home from work. I am that Trad guy you talked about. Went to recurve 97. Some times good. Killed my share of deer but also lost 3 nice bucks here in PA. Last one broke my spirt. Your method has brought me back in one night. Unbelievable the fire is back like never before. I truly thank you Brother.

I grew up with a small recurve my dad bought me. Heck even when I was very small I was shooting squirrels in the back yard with suction cup tipped arrows. I moved into wheeled archery when I was 18 and have killed at least one deer a year with a bow except one year when I could not seem to get a shot to save my life. I'm currently 54 and still do 99% of my hunting with a bow of some sort. I recently got a really sweet setup from a great guy who set me up with one of his machined risers and some uukha limbs and his custom strings. I am currently building some arrows and getting in some finger tabs and a few other accessories so I can shoot it, but I'm super excited. I've had a few nice recurves in the past, a Zipper being one the better ones but had no one to show me much back in those days. This video is truly a wealth of knowledge and although it is a bit long, it is very detailed and thorough. I learned a lot and look forward to giving this a try. Thank you for taking the time to put this together!

I’m 63 yrs old and my first bow was at 3 yrs old shooting in the back yd with my dad. Dad passed away this past March at 93! I’ve been thinking seriously about going back to my roots and shooting traditionally and this superb video has convinced me that’s what I will do. I still have dads first Bear Kodiak hangin in my shop. Gonna try one of the newer alum risers so my son can hang them both in his shop some day to admire. Thanks so much for an excellent video! I’ll use it over and over until I become proficient and knowledgeable enuf without it!

Great film. I'm a beginner at 66 and looking to shoot traditional English longbow. Unfortunately bow hunting is illegal in the UK so I'm stuck with target and 3D field archery. Also I don't think you are allowed to string walk on a longbow in competition so I aim to try instinctive shooting and see how I go on. Anyhow, a great film all beginners should watch.
