Thanks for this. I am a nut when it comes to keeping my notes straight. This is an amazing module.

Yes please to a playlist for the slideshow. That would be great. Fantastic video, didn't know half of what it could do.

This was just fantastic! Tjanks to out IronMonk for taking the time and to YOU for making this all possible and showing us each month just how snaky/clever and wondrous we can be in Foundry!

Been waiting for this! Didn't even mind the length, just enjoyed how in depth we got. I figured out most of the base features from toying with it, but others made me do a double take. Very informative, a big thanks to both of you for your time and I'm so glad I got to see this!

I literally installed the journal module early this morning, and I'm loving it. I converted Temple of Elemental Evil for Foundry, and the amount of journal entries I have is intense. I think my favorite feature so far is setting up a set dungeon room as an encounter journal entry with the tokens staged in the journal.

One improvement that I would like to see if Monks can add it is for the Encounter Sheet allow you to place the Canvas Coordinate of the Token, that way when you click the button to spawn, it will know where to place the token. (Fantasy Grounds have such feature for it's encounter journal).

This video is very helpful! Thanks for making it. For the hidden token chat feature, how do we turn it on so the GM can see the token chat when the target token is clicked on?

it broke my PDF pager module references inside the items. Is there any way to reference a specific pdf page?

Not what I thought, nor what I'm looking for. Nice for D&D GMs, though; well done.

Hey quick question! When I try to set a macro to open an entry using monk's, it opens it without the sidebar. Is there a way to specifically set the macro to open it WITH the navigation sidebar on the right? I have made buttons using triggerhappy and want a journal-specific one that opens with that navigation bar. Thanks!

Perfect video. Just one note. I'm having glitches with Enhanced journal when its poped out. It happens that it kind of freeze and I need to pop in the journal before actually making it work.

Bailey are u using some codec compression for the videos? Even on 1080p, most of the text content of the Foundry is hard to read.

I am a bit thorn with the idea of having characters in journals with no stats in them.

I dont always plan every stat for a char. But when a PC says "I Wanna arm wrestle with the blacksmith!" then I have to come up with a STR/athletics stats for him, and slowly but surely most regular NPCs build their stats up. So having 2 different sheets for them seems kinda odd.

Then again I think this makes for a great PUBLIC area for them, where anyone knows those details of the blacksmith, players shouldnt know his str/athletics score.

I was wondering, is there an easy way to make journals only visible by players while they are within a specific scene?

The amount of work involved in this kind of module is astounding. Thank you both for all your efforts!
I'm wondering how this module might fit within my campaign if I already setup everything using Forien's Quest Log. Would that show up on the pull down list? Also, it's often the case where I want to reveal the text of -some- of the description for the players to read, not -all- of it. DM notes, if you will. All of the journal entry stuff I've seen simply has one tab for text, "Description". I dont think I can embed DM notes into that, so is there a way to add DM notes to the journal entries? Another tab, form, etc?

So all this new journal entry blank tab etc apply only to 5e? Or can this be used for P2e?
