Starbucks barista here. This is somewhat accurate, but the ratio of syrup to milk/cream is slightly off. We generally tone it down to half of the vanilla you put in that when making smaller batches. Otherwise, the ratio is (almost) correct. Try 3tbsp heavy cream and 1.5 tbsp of milk!

This hack worked out so good for me.I could not find the vanilla syrup anywhere, so instead, I used 1 teaspoon of maple syrup, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to make the syrup . and it worked out so well it taste delicious..

u can also add to the vanilla, which is what we do; mactha, strawberry puree, cinnamon syrup, caramel and salt, etc.

ive been supporting local coffee shops nowadays. It tastes way better, especially the vietnamese iced milk coffee!!

This is the base for all the foam.
Add another tbs (or 2tsp) of whatever you want and you’ll get all the other foams. They keep the vanilla and don’t substitute for anything else ~ they add to it.
Pumpkin, matcha, strawberry, salted caramel has two of those extra small packets, etc.

From personal experience less is more with the fat (heavy cream) if you use to much it becomes over powering and will curdle faster. Also and this is extremely important, idk why he didnt this. Use lowfat milk or fat free for the best/easiest most stable foam and you will get way more of it from less.
