フジテレビ系ドラマ｢西遊記｣の主題歌として書き下ろした作品。
翌2007年には映画｢西遊記｣主題歌で、香取慎吾さん扮する孫悟空のセリフなどを加え、リ・アレンジした「Around The World + Go! 空」もリリース。
2018年から、JR東日本・仙台空港アクセス線 仙台駅の専用発車メロディにも選ばれている。
