OMG! Echo I hope you see this comment because I found the Magna Tank Gell Pens at Walmart(on the website! I knew right away that I had to tell you, so I clicked off the browser and accidentaly closed it, but thats okay because I can find it again! You should use charcoal pencils, because it suits your style as you love really dark shadows and you'd probably enjoy drawing with them!

I relate to the sister thing!
I have a younger sister, and, same as yours, she's used to my drawings, and rarely compliments them.
Which is why it means so much to me whenever she tells me that anything I draw is cute, or great, or when I show her a picture and she tells me "You draw better". Her approval is probably the only one I really strive for.

Yes! I'm not the only person to have trouble with sketchbook bindings! I mostly use spiral bound books at the moment. I turn them upside down instead of going back to front, but the same effect is achieved. Everyone is so confused when they first open them.
