Nikon D7500 Specs

The D7500 has most of the features of the D7200 but with a couple of improvements. The camera has a new autofocus system that supports 153 focus points, including 11 cross-type sensors and 51 phase-detection sensors that cover the entire frame, including the center point. The AF system also supports face detection and eye detection. Another improvement is in image quality. The ISO range is expanded to ISO 100 - 6400 (equivalent) from ISO 100 - 12800 (equivalent). Low light performance is also improved over the previous model by increasing the maximum sensitivity to 25600 (equivalent) from 6400.

The sensor is an improved version of Nikon's new CMOS sensor technology, which improves dynamic range and high-frequency NR to bring out more details in shadow areas without reducing details in bright areas. This makes for better photos in high contrast lighting situations such as night photos or portraits where you want great detail on both highlights and shadows but not have the image be underexposed.

The camera has a new Silent Wave Motor (SWM) designed to reduce noise and vibration in extended exposure modes. It also has a new AF system that is optimized for use with the SWM, which can help to improve performance in low-light situations. The ISO range is increased to 12800 (equivalent) from 6400, and the native ISO speed is increased to 25600 (equivalent).
